Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat (EBSB)
- Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) has been one of the major flagship programmes of the Government to bring in cultural integration of the country. EBSB was announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 31st October, 2015 on the occasion of the 140th Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Ministry of Education, Govt. of India is the coordinating Ministry for these activities under EBSB.
India is unique by its diverse, multi cultural, multi lingual nature, yet stands together as one nation with various religions, traditions, values, culture, languages, dresses, festivals, food cuisines etc. EBSB celebrates the unity in diversity through mutual interaction & joint programs between people and institutes of different states and UTs. The pairing state of Punjab is Andhra Pradesh.
EBSB is an extended platform for students of our college to understand and learn about Andhra Pradesh and its people, culture, life style, food habits, music, dance, dressing styles, festivals etc. Various programmes were organized to know more about Andhra Pradesh through our pairing institutes St. Joseph College, Vizag and JMJ College.
EBSB club of the college organizes various events and activities that promote cultural exchange and awareness and also the values of national integration and cultural diversity. These activities are a rewarding and enriching experience for the students.
